Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Tripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tripper comes to the cage accompanied by Shout 2000. Darko is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Black Keys - Breaks. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The fighters circling - Tripper throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Darko cracks Tripper with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Tripper shoots in looking for a takedown. Darko tries to sprawl out of it but Tripper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Darko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tripper is bucking up trying to escape but Darko cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Darko avoids the attempt from Tripper to control.
Tripper is desperately trying to improve his position but Darko has a good base and remains in mount.

Darko lands a big shot there that rocks Tripper but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Tripper throws a shot from downtown. Darko moves away and avoids it.
Some bone on bone action there as Tripper checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Darko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tripper moves away.

Darko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tripper's half guard.
Darko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tripper is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Darko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tripper looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Darko feints a jab promting Tripper to slip. Darko then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tripper slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Ace Darko is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jack Tripper.
I think Darko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
