Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between M C Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer comes to the cage accompanied by M.C. Hammer: U Cant Touch This. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer looks to land a body kick but Mason moved away.
Mason tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hammer was well out of range. Poor timing from Mason.

Mason throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hammer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mason is in Hammer's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mason trying to control but Hammer is working from the bottom.
Hammer is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Craig Mason hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mason slips under a jab.
Mason looks to land a combination but Hammer avoids it well.
Hammer throws a big shot that misses.
Hammer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mason tries to clinch but Hammer is having none of it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mason has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hammer finds it's way round the side to connect with Mason's head.
Mason throws a lazy right hand but Hammer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hammer gets tackled into the cage by Mason. Mason maintains the clinch.

Mason tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hammer's elbow.
Mason's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Mason tries to work over Hammer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Hammer.
Mason is pushing Hammer up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Hammer can't find room to land a body shot as Mason controls the action.
Mason is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hammer is keeping busy.
Mason lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hammer backwards.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mason.

Mason manages to pull guard.

Mason avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hammer darts in trying to clinch

and Mason counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hammer won't be happy with that.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mason is working to tighten is grip on Hammer's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hammer has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mason is really squeezing tight and eventually Hammer passes out! Mason breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
