Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edilson Rubiera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Lipsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rubiera's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, ratamahatta. Lipsky has chosen Comme Un Enfante as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Edilson Rubiera has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Edilson Rubiera seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubiera moves out of range as Lipsky strikes.
Rubiera sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rubiera chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lipsky can pounce on him.
Lipsky is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Lipsky lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Lipsky fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rubiera.
Rubiera displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lipsky throws out the jab.
Rubiera doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rubiera takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rubiera throws a right hand that Lipsky ducks under and follows up with a left that Lipsky also avoids with ease.
Rubiera takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Matt Lipsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lipsky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lipsky lands a nice hook to Rubiera's body. Rubiera takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Lipsky lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rubiera circles away quickly and effectively.
Lipsky throws a push kick but Rubiera slaps the foot to one side.

Lipsky lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Lipsky throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
A frustrated look appears on Rubiera's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Edilson Rubiera's cut is getting worse.
Lipsky lands a good knee to the midsection. Rubiera won't want to take too many of those.
Rubiera is breathing heavily.
Lipsky gets through Rubiera's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lipsky lands an elbow inside that Rubiera shrugs off.
Lipsky lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rubiera backwards.

Edilson Rubiera's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Lipsky lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Oh Rubiera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lipsky creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Rubiera with a big uppercut! Rubiera tries to clinch up but Lipsky pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Rubiera to the mat! Rubiera covers up and Lipsky unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
