Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen Kronik as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta tries to clinch up
and Adams counters with a crisp one two that drops Huerta! Adams thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Huerta to his feet! Huerta is in big trouble!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Adams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A head kick misses from Adams.
A shot to the body from Adams misses
and Huerta counters with a head kick. That will keep Adams thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Adams moves into the clinch.
Adams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Adams showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Huerta.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Adams.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Huerta looks to move to half guard but instead Adams has passed into mount! Damn!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Huerta wants to control but Adams is having none of it.
Adams content just to control the position here.
Adams in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
It looks like Max Huerta has been cut.
Adams is looking to work his way around to Huerta's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Huerta can't escape the position.
Adams scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Adams lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Jeez, Max Huerta's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Max Huerta's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
