Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Lipsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lipsky comes to the cage accompanied by Comme Un Enfante. Thai has chosen Town Called Malice as his entrance music. Muay Thai told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Muay Thai!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lipsky has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lipsky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thai throws out the jab.
Thai stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lipsky.
Matt Lipsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Lipsky throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lipsky avoids a kick to the body.

Thai tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Lipsky stalks Thai and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Thai's face. Thai staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Muay Thai has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fight stays on the outside here - Lipsky looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lipsky is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Thai with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lipsky to score with a decent uppercut.

Lipsky tries to close the distance and clinch but Thai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lipsky throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Thai stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Lipsky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thai.

Lipsky tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Thai is able to avoid easily.

Lipsky looks to land a right hand but Thai moved out of range.

Lipsky throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Thai counters with a big head kick but Lipsky shrugs it off.
A bone on bone clash there as Thai blocks the leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Thai takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The crowd cheers as Lipsky lands an impressive looking overhand right. Thai doesn't seem phased though.
Good leg kick by Thai there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
