Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Goodnight Irene!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Irene can do anything to dispel that myth.
Irene is trying to get back to full guard.
Gracie with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Irene has hold of Gracie's hands but Gracie slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
It looks like Goodnight Irene has been cut.
Irene really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Irene wants to improve his position but Gracie is controlling well.
Nice strikes from Gracie there.
That has opened up Goodnight Irene's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie is keen to just control but Irene is a slippery customer.
Irene avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gracie.
Irene wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Irene on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The cut above Goodnight Irene's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Gracie prevents Irene from improving his position.

Still in half guard, Gracie seems content to control.
Gracie landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Goodnight Irene's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Coalman Gracie!
Coalman Gracie spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
