The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Emelianenko throws a hook but D blocks it.
D uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Emelianenko.
D takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Emelianenko misses with a straight left.
D uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Emelianenko.
D takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Emelianenko throws an off balance right hand
letting D counter with a right hand.
It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
D takes a swing at Emelianenko's ribcage but misses.
D doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
D on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Emelianenko darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Emelianenko lands the left hand.

D throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

enabling D to counter with a crisp jab.
D walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Emelianenko drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! D swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Emelianenko's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Man D!
