Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franko Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and epoch the second (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Franko Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, epoch the second! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams ducks under a wild hook from the second. Williams tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but the second swivels and escapes. the second throws a shot to the body.
Williams lands an overhand right. the second throws a right and a left that Williams avoids nicely. the second should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. the second stuffs the takedown attempt from Williams. Williams gets slowly back to his feet. Williams takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. the second moves in looking to clinch but Williams pushes him off. Williams misses with a takedown attempt - the second sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franko Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. the second doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.
the second fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
the second lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by the second. the second misses with a jab, cross combination.
Donk. the second catches Williams right on the button with a cross. Williams getting the better of the striking in that exchange. the second ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Williams is breathing heavily. Williams moves into the clinch successfully.
Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Williams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from the second.
That's one minute gone in the round. the second scores with a hook. Williams gets the takedown into side control. Williams trying to control the position but the second is working away. the second tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. the second is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Williams asserts his dominance and retains side control. the second sneaks back into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. the second slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. the second is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Williams dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams tries to advance to mount but can't. Williams slows the pace down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams stands up and beckons the second to his feet. the second fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. the second has had enough of the clinch but Williams keeps him there for the moment. the second wants to break the clinch but can't.
Williams successfully pulls guard.
Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Williams is trying to keep the second in close.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Williams manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. the second tries to keep at a distance but Williams has taken the fight into the clinch. Williams's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Williams lands a nice shot to the body. Williams drops to a knee looking for a takedown but the second gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Franko Williams dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
the second throws a leg kick that misses. the second wants to clinch but Williams slips to the side and Williams counters with a single leg into guard. the second didn't expect that. Williams trying to control but the second is working from the bottom. the second throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Williams wants to control from the top but the second keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. the second working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Williams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Williams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Williams decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. the second fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Williams on the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. the second misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Williams counters with a single leg into guard. the second didn't expect that. the second wants to stand up but Williams is controlling him. Williams is pushing down on the second's leg trying to pass to half guard. the second is fighting to maintain full guard but Williams has managed to sneak the leg through. Williams trying to control from half guard but the second is working away. Williams throwing shots but the second is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams controlling the pace. Williams stops the second from getting back to his feet.
Williams is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and the second reverses the position - he's now on top in Williams's guard. the second preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. the second has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Williams is proving hard to escape from. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Williams takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
No luck for Williams with that takedown attempt. the second misses with a combination
and Williams counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for the second on the ground. Williams trying to stand up but can't free himself from the second's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franko Williams dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Williams will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning the second up against the cage. the second can't break the clinch.

the second has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. the second wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Williams drives through and clinches with the second against the cage.

Williams wants to control but the second is keeping him busy. Williams wants to advance to full mount but the second doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. the second keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. Williams is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. the second wants to stand but Williams is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. the second is working an open guard so Williams takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. the second ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away. the second throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Franko Williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. the second looks to land a body kick but Williams moved away. the second listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. the second avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. the second tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Williams counters by clinching up. the second avoiding damage as Williams throws knees to the body.

And that's the end of the fight! Franko Williams showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Williams, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
