Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cro Copout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rios comes to the cage accompanied by Painkiller - Judas Priest. Copout comes into a darkened arena with his song building. you throw knee, i go home kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Cro Copout will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Rios! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cro Copout! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Copout comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Copout works over Rios's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Alex Rios has been cut. Rios swats away the attempt to clinch by Copout. Rios misses with a low kick. Rios closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Copout. Rios breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Copout misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Rios shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Copout manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Rios works a leg free and moves into half guard. Rios looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Copout is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rios's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rios's back! The referee is taking a good look at Rios as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Copout!
Rios rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rios wants to get back to full guard. Copout lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Rios tries to roll over but Copout keeps him under control. Rios trying to hold on to Copout's head to control him but Copout postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Copout takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Rios punching from the bottom.
Rios gets back to full guard.
Copout lands a couple of digs.
Alex Rios's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Copout throws a big right hand that misses. Copout with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jeez, Alex Rios's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alex Rios's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Cro Copout! Cro Copout decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
