The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butterbritches misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Butterbritches shoots in for a takedown but Muhbelleh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Muhbelleh misses with a looping left.
Muhbelleh moves in looking to clinch but Butterbritches pushes him off.

Muhbelleh gets caught flat footed, as Butterbritches shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Butterbritches has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Butterbritches is nestled in close to Muhbelleh, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Butterbritches thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Muhbelleh's head.
Muhbelleh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Butterbritches. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Butterbritches connects with a nice short shot to Muhbelleh's temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Butterbritches uses his free foot to push down on Muhbelleh's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Muhbelleh.

Muhbelleh takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Muhbelleh is rocked!
Butterbritches loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Muhbelleh scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Butterbritches land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Butterbritches stands and salutes the crowd.
