Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dian Wei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dian Wei has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dian Wei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Jones! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wei. Wei gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jones working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Wei's head. Jones advances position into side control! Jones stands up. Jones throws a leg kick that misses. Wei fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wei looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Wei persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dian Wei. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wei quickly recovers to half guard. Jones is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wei with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Wei knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jones escapes and gets back to his feet. Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Wei. A bone on bone clash there as Wei blocks the leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wei tries to sprawl but Jones drives through with a takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones prevents Wei from improving his position. Jones is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jones working Wei over with strikes. Jones is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wei! Jones with shots to the head and body - Wei looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. BOOM! Jones connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones unloading with bombs! Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones looking to finish Wei with some ground and pound. This is bad for Wei! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones looking for a guillotine from mount but Wei is having none of it. Jones content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jones throws a head kick that misses. Wei has his takedown stuffed so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jones showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jones is pushing down on Wei's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wei is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through. Jones is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wei defends it well. Jones is controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wei sees it coming and defends easily. Jones passes to side control. Jones working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones decides to stand back up. Jones throws the kick towards the body but Wei avoids it. Wei uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Wei gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch. Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Wei will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jones is trying to keep Wei in close.
Jones pulls Wei in to control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones has a closed guard, preventing Wei from standing up. Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wei's guard. Wei is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jones is stalling in the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tim Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wei on his heels. He'll look to pass Wei's guard now, I'm sure. Wei is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jones sitting in guard here, content to control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Wei is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones sitting in guard here, content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wei moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. Jones clinches up with Wei and pushes him back against the cage. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jones has clasped his hands together around Wei's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Jones stands up. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Wei moves out of range easily. Jones shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jones moves into full mount! Wei won't be happy about that!

It looks like Dian Wei has been cut. Jones avoids the attempt from Wei to control. Jones controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wei is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Tim Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Jones rushes Wei and presses him up against the cage. Wei wants to stall.
Jones turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jones manages to end up in side control. Jones decides to take the fight back to the feet. Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wei, up you get! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A combination from Jones does no damage. Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wei on his heels. He'll look to pass Wei's guard now, I'm sure. Jones has gone for a leg lock! Wei slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jones's guard. Wei tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones pulls Wei in close to his closed guard and prevents Wei from doing any damage or advancing position. Dian Wei has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tim Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jones's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that's the end of the fight! Tim Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
