The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesly drives through with a takedown into Jagatic's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Jagatic looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Wesly seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Wesly distracts Jagatic with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Wesly decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Wesly moves into the clinch.
Wesly has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jagatic regains guard immediately.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wesly showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Jagatic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wesly on the ground.
Wesly works over Jagatic with some ground and pound from guard.
Wesly pushing down on Jagatic's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Wesly moves nicely into side control.

Wesly thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Wesly decides to stand back up. Wesly steps back and let's Jagatic get back to his feet.
Wesly shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Wesly's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wesly drops an elbow to the side of Jagatic's head.
Well, if Wesly is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Wesly is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Wesly decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Wesly closes the distance and clinches.
Wesly has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jagatic regains guard immediately.
Wesly works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Wesly passes to side control.
Wesly lands a decent elbow from side control.

Jagatic is trying to improve his position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wesly lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Wesly advances to full mount.
Wesly tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jagatic takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Wesly dominated that round.

Wesly shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wesly content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wesly connects with a nice short shot to Jagatic's temple.
Wesly passes the guard and advances to mount!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wesly working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Jagatic takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Wesly's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
