The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson tries to close the distance and clinch but Swarley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Henderson throws a jab but it's blocked by Swarley.
Henderson dives in and grabs Swarley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Swarley pushes down on Henderson's head and hops out.
Swarley tries a head kick but it misses.
Henderson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Swarley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Henderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Henderson wants to pass the guard but Swarley is keeping the position.
