Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tycho Van Braam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emiel Van Geeren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tycho Van Braam could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Emiel Van Geeren's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Emiel Van Geeren!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Braam tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Van Geeren swivels and escapes.
Van Braam is looking to chop away at Van Geeren's legs.
Van Braam bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Van Braam shoots in but no luck this time.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Van Braam.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tycho Van Braam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Van Geeren throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Van Braam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Van Braam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Van Geeren as he jumps to the side.
Van Braam tries to clinch but Van Geeren moves out of range.

Van Braam shoots in looking for a takedown. Van Geeren tries to sprawl out of it but Van Braam keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Van Geeren manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fight stays on the outside here - Van Braam looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Van Braam tries to close the distance and clinch up but Van Geeren swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Van Braam will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Van Braam uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Van Geeren.
A combination from Van Geeren does no damage.
Van Braam is looking to clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from Van Geeren.
Van Geeren lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Van Braam closes the distance and clinches up with Van Geeren, looking for a takedown. Van Braam pushes Van Geeren against the cage but Van Geeren circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A big left from Van Geeren misses.
Van Geeren misses with a straight right.
Van Braam tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Van Geeren counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Van Braam fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

No joy there for Van Braam, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Van Braam shoots in for a takedown but Van Geeren shows good takedown defense.
Van Geeren scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Van Braam is looking to chop away at Van Geeren's legs.
Van Braam fails with a takedown attempt.
Van Geeren throws out a loose jab but Van Braam uses good head movement to avoid it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Van Geeren stuffs the takedown attempt from Van Braam. Van Braam gets slowly back to his feet.
Van Braam tries to score a power double leg takedown but Van Geeren sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Van Braam somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emiel Van Geeren dominated that round.
That's time! Van Braam's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Van Braam tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Van Geeren counters with a stiff right hand.
Van Braam displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Van Geeren throws out the jab.
Van Braam feints and as Van Geeren raises his hands in defense, Van Braam changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Van Geeren not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Van Braam has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Van Geeren is proving hard to escape from.
Van Geeren is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Van Braam is controlling him.
Van Braam thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Van Braam is pushing down on Van Geeren's leg trying to pass to half guard. Van Geeren is fighting to maintain full guard but Van Braam has managed to sneak the leg through.

Van Braam looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Van Braam wants to work for an arm triangle but Van Geeren is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Van Geeren gets back to full guard.
Van Braam tries to stand but Van Geeren is controlling from the bottom.
Van Geeren wants to stand and escape but Van Braam is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Van Braam postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Van Geeren is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Van Braam, into his guard.
Van Braam wants to sweep here but Van Geeren controlling him for the moment.
Van Geeren wanted to stand there but Van Braam had control of the position.
Van Braam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van Geeren gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Van Geeren wants to get up but he can't break Van Braam's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Van Braam working for a triangle but Van Geeren defends it easily.
Van Braam has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Van Geeren doesn't defend quickly enough and Van Braam has managed to lock this one up! Can Van Geeren escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Van Braam on a fantastic submission victory.

A less than humble Tycho Van Braam misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
