Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Gimmick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuyuki Takimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gimmick comes to the cage accompanied by Six Feet Under - War Is Coming. Takimoto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Instrumental. Kazuyuki Takimoto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

and Takimoto counters with a nice uppercut.
Takimoto moves away from the strike by Gimmick.
Gimmick is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Takimoto fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Takimoto throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gimmick was covering up waiting for the punch and Takimoto finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Takimoto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gimmick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Takimoto is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gimmick bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Takimoto's guard.
Takimoto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gimmick shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Takimoto lands with a hook. Gimmick tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A head kick misses from Gimmick.
Takimoto shoots in looking for a takedown. Gimmick tries to sprawl out of it but Takimoto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gimmick manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Justin Gimmick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazuyuki Takimoto.
Good leg kick by Takimoto there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gimmick doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

No luck for Takimoto with that takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Justin Gimmick will probably get the nod.
