Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Satan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satan's entrance music is Bullet For My Valentine - Hit The Floor. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Aldo misses its intended target.
Satan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Aldo sprawls well initially but Satan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Satan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Aldo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Satan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aldo is just riding it out for now. Satan eventually gives up the hold.

Satan uses his free foot to push down on Aldo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Aldo.

We're going to have a standup here because Damien Satan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
