The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan throws the left hand but Fernandez avoids the punch easily.

Fernandez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hogan looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Fernandez is working for a kimura but Hogan is defending it quite comfortably.
Hogan is trying to get back to full guard.
Hogan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hogan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fernandez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fernandez's back!

Fernandez manages to stand up with Hogan still on his back. Eventually Hogan drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Fernandez is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hogan rolls with it to try and escape but Fernandez cranks on the arm and Hogan is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
