Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neho Kipei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heavy Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neho Kipei has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Neho Kipei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Heavy Storm! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Storm. Storm prevents Kipei from escaping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Storm throws an elbow but Kipei slips to the side and avoids it well. Storm fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Storm creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Storm wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kipei keeps working. Kipei knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Storm on the ground. Storm goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kipei has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Storm but great work by Kipei. Kipei cracks Storm with a big elbow. Storm is trying to get back to half guard. Kipei looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Storm is avoiding damage well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Storm is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kipei connects with a decent elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kipei controls the position. Kipei scoring with punches and elbows. Storm gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Storm slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Storm is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kipei defends well. Storm had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kipei defends it easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kipei is in close to Storm's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kipei avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Storm utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kipei throwing strikes but missing. Storm throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kipei throwing strikes from guard but Storm blocks nicely. Kipei throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Storm looking for a sweep. Not yet Storm, not yet. Storm working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kipei doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kipei manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Storm manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kipei manages to get himself to full guard.
Storm prevents Kipei from getting back to his feet. Storm scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kipei wants to stand but Storm is controlling the position. Storm in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm passes into half guard. Storm missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kipei is trying to stand.
Storm throws a strike but Kipei avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Storm wants to control from the top but Kipei keeps moving. Storm keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kipei's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Storm thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Storm won't allow Kipei to get back to his feet. Storm with a flurry of punches that miss. Storm trying to control but Kipei is working from the bottom. Kipei has momentary wrist control but Storm slips an elbow through the middle. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Storm with a flurry of punches that miss. Storm tries to free his leg and advance position but Kipei is retaining full guard. Kipei is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Heavy Storm dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kipei misses with a takedown and Storm counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kipei won't be happy with that. Storm tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Sloppy strikes there by Storm. Storm is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kipei knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Storm working the ground and pound but Kipei is defending the strikes. Storm working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

That's one minute gone in the round. Storm lands some shots froms side control. Storm landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Kipei defending against the ground and pound. Storm connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kipei some visible discomfort.
Storm throwing strikes but Kipei manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Storm regains half guard. Kipei is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Storm has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kipei is working away from the top position though. Storm looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Storm looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Storm controls Kipei momentarily but Kipei frees himself. Storm working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kipei. Storm keeping moving, preventing Kipei from controlling successfully. Kipei postures up and lands a big shot to Storm's brow. Storm looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kipei won't allow Storm to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Storm throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Oh but Storm is tightening it up a little... Kipei has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kipei reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kipei taps out! Nice BJJ there by Storm!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Heavy Storm! Heavy Storm really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that L.A. Elite Clothing Co logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
