Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Dunne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlos Condit! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Condit tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dunne manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dunne keeps the fight on the outside. Condit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dunne swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dunne takes the fight into the clinch. Dunne tries to break free but Condit pushes him back against the cage. Condit misses with a knee to the head. Dunne on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Dunne changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Condit looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Condit wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Dunne tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Dunne in side control, just content to control the action for now. Condit takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Dunne dives in and scores a takedown into Condit's guard. Condit is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dunne is controlling him. Condit manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Condit unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dunne lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Condit tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dunne avoids it. Dunne turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Condit is trying to buck Dunne off. Jay Dunne has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dunne is trying to get an arm triangle but Condit is defending well. Dunne decides to stand back up. Dunne steps back and let's Condit get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jay Dunne. I think Condit has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
