Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryder Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Dael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ryder Driver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rich Dael!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driver slips a jab from Dael.
The crowd cheers as Driver lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dael doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Rich Dael has been cut.
Dael throws a body punch but Driver moves out of range.
Driver lands with an overhand left.
Driver tries to clinch up but Dael circles away and keeps his distance.
Dael throws a nice looking combination but Driver bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Driver gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dael tries to pull guard but Driver holds him up against the cage and eventually Dael drops back down to his feet.
Driver really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Driver tries to circle away but Dael has him pinned against the cage.
Driver goes for a takedown attempt but Dael pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dael lands a jab to Driver's midsection.
Driver tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dael manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dael stalks Driver and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Driver's face. Driver staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Ryder Driver has been cut.
Driver wants to clinch up but Dael keeps it at a distance.
Ryder Driver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Driver fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dael avoids it really well and circles away.
Driver throws out a leg kick but Dael moves out of range and Driver only half commits.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Driver tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dael swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dael instigates a clinch.
Good body shot from Dael.
Dael keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Driver's efforts to push away.
Driver wants to get back to striking at distance but Dael won't allow it.
Driver tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dael just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryder Driver. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Driver has had enough of the clinch but Dael keeps him there for the moment.
Driver is trying to break free.
Dael prevents Driver from breaking the clinch.

Dael pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Dael throws out a loose jab but Driver uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dael lands a left and a right that send Driver crashing to the mat, dazed. Dael thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Driver is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dael lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Driver head around and knocks him out cold! Dael hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rich Dael!
