Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh G Rection (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rection comes to the cage accompanied by Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Hugh G Rection!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Hull!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hull tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hull throws a half hearted mid kick.
Rection looks to land a combination but Hull avoids it well.
Hull uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rection.

Hull moves into the clinch successfully.
Hull lands an elbow inside.


It looks like Hugh G Rection has been cut.

Hull's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hull doesn't manage to clinch there - Rection circles away.
Rection thows a body shot but no joy.
Rection looks to land a body kick but Hull moved away.
Hull moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Rection throws a half hearted mid kick.
Rection ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hull moves away.
Hull throws a low kick, looking for Rection's leg but Rection calmly moves out of range.
Rection lunges at Hull with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hull's hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hull does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hull tries to clinch but Rection is having none of it.
Rection lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hull checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hull finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Hull pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rection is out of range and Hull settles back down.
Rection misses with a looping right.
Hull tries to clinch but Rection moves away
and Rection counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hull looks to land a body kick but Rection moved away.
Rection avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Rection throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Rection throws a low kick but Hull moves out of range easily.
Rection swats away the attempt to clinch by Hull.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hull tries to land a front kick but Rection steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rection clobbers Hull with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rection moves out of range of the body kick from Hull.
Rection checks a low kick from Hull.
Hull takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rection checks a leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Rection blocks the leg kick.
Hull throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hull pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rection is out of range and Hull settles back down.
Hull misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rection takes a swing at Hull's ribcage but misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rection getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Rection checks the leg kick nicely there.
A telegraphed right hand from Rection misses the target.
Rection misses with a low kick.
Hull buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hull throws a leg kick that misses.
Hull throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rection throws a low kick, looking for Hull's leg but Hull calmly moves out of range.
Hull swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Rection lands a slapping body shot.
Hull throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A big right from Rection misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Hull.
Hull checks a leg kick.
Hull is looking to chop away at Rection's legs.
Rection moves out of range of the body kick.
Rection throws a lazy body kick
and Hull counters with a good low kick that Rection was not able to check.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hull feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rection's calf.
Hull lands a leg kick that knocks Rection off balance momentarily.
Hull tries to close the distance and clinch but Rection swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rection is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hull.
Rection lands with a shot to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rection thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hull tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hull misses with a leg kick
and Rection counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hugh G Rection will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Hugh G Rection's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Hull tries to clinch up.
Hull throws a leg kick but Rection checks it.
Hull scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Hull slips a straight right by Rection.
Rection cracks Hull with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A jab lands there for Rection.
Hull throws a body kick that misses.
A low kick from Rection is predictable there
and Hull makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hugh G Rection is winning the standup battle so far.
Hull wants to slow Rection down by chopping away at his legs.
Rection feints and then cracks Hull's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hull down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rection throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hull on the side of the head.
Rection moves out of range of the body kick.
Hull chopping away at his opponent's legs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hull tries to clinch up but Rection circles away and keeps his distance.
Hull fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rection has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rection here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Hull tries to clinch but Rection is having none of it.
Rection rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hull counters with a solid body kick.
Hull lands with a kick to the ribs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rection lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hull has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hull and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hull scoring well with a low kick there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hull takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hull. Rection shrugs it off though.
Sloppy strikes from Rection. Those never looked like landing.
Rection stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hull.

Hull throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nice body kick from Hull.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hull.

Hull darts in and clinches Rection up against the cage.
Rection struggles to land a body shot inside as Hull controls his hands.
Hull blocks an uppercut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Hull.
A frustrated look appears on Rection's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Rection blocks the elbow strike.
Rection fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Rection misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rection misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rection swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Rection blocks the elbow strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rection.
Rection trying to stall but Hull improves his position.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rection takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
With the fighters up against the cage, Hull throws an elbow but misses.
Hull pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Rection is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Hull misses with an elbow strike.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hull is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Hull throws an elbow that misses.

Hull wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hull looking to stall.
Rection lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hull backwards.
Rection avoids a wild elbow strike from Hull.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Hull.
Still in the clinch, Rection scores with a nice short uppercut.
Rection is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hull is keeping busy.
Hull misses with an elbow over the top.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rection lands with a right to the head.
Hull dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Hull throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Hull showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Hull bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rection misses the shot to the body.
Hull throws a leg kick but Rection moved away.
Hull pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rection is out of range and Hull settles back down.

Rection has Hull up against the cage in a clinch.
Hull lands an elbow inside that Rection shrugs off.

With the fighters up against the cage, Hull throws an elbow but misses.
Rection tries to stall but Hull uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Hull is trying to break the clinch but Rection has him pressed against the cage.
Hull lands an elbow just above Rection 's eye.


Hugh G Rection's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hugh G Rection's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mike Hull!
An out of breath Mike Hull thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
