Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tapdance Extravaganza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garrick Ballantyne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tapdance Extravaganza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Garrick Ballantyne! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ballantyne tries a low kick but Extravaganza avoids it. Extravaganza dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ballantyne scores with a nice right hand.
Extravaganza scores with a jab to the body. Extravaganza thows a body shot but no joy. Extravaganza misses with the combination.
Extravaganza swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ballantyne counters with a nice leg kick. Extravaganza closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ballantyne managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Extravaganza.

Ballantyne tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Extravaganza wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ballantyne defending against the ground and pound. Extravaganza throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ballantyne can do anything to dispel that myth. Extravaganza creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Extravaganza throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Ballantyne works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Extravaganza working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ballantyne wants to control but Extravaganza is keeping busy.
Extravaganza is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ballantyne defends it well. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Extravaganza lands a nice short elbow. Extravaganza sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ballantyne defending well though. Ballantyne preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Extravaganza throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ballantyne is trying to get back to full guard. Extravaganza wants to work for an arm triangle but Ballantyne is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ballantyne is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Extravaganza's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Extravaganza's back! Extravaganza tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Extravaganza regains half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ballantyne wants to free his trapped foot but Extravaganza is holding on for dear life with his legs. Extravaganza works his way to full guard. Good work. Ballantyne wants to pass the guard but Extravaganza is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Extravaganza throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Ballantyne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Extravaganza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ballantyne trying to control the position from guard on top but Extravaganza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ballantyne won't allow Extravaganza to sweep him here. Ballantyne is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Extravaganza is on top in guard.
Ballantyne looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Extravaganza lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Extravaganza looking to pass the guard. Extravaganza with a nice head shot there. Extravaganza throws an elbow that misses. Ballantyne uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Extravaganza's guard. Nice move by Ballantyne! Extravaganza looking for a sweep. Not yet Extravaganza, not yet. Extravaganza trying to keep a closed guard but Ballantyne is proving a slippery customer.
Extravaganza keeping moving, preventing Ballantyne from controlling successfully. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tapdance Extravaganza dominated that round. That's time! Extravaganza's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ballantyne misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Extravaganza misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ballantyne counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ballantyne throws a low kick, looking for Extravaganza's leg but Extravaganza calmly moves out of range. Extravaganza swings for the body but Ballantyne moves out of range.
Extravaganza shoots in for a takedown but Ballantyne shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Extravaganza fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Extravaganza throws a series of strikes that have Ballantyne backpedaling.
Extravaganza pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ballantyne feints and then cracks Extravaganza's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Extravaganza down. The fighters circling - Ballantyne throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ballantyne stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ballantyne wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tapdance Extravaganza. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. A solid leg kick lands there for Ballantyne.
Ballantyne throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Extravaganza's head. Extravaganza throws a predictable looking body shot
and Ballantyne counters with an outside leg kick.
Extravaganza shoots for a double leg takedown but Ballantyne sprawls well. He's pushed Extravaganza's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice takedown defense from Ballantyne. No joy for Extravaganza on that attempt. Extravaganza lands with a straight right. Ballantyne didn't see that one coming. Extravaganza just misses with a punch to the body.
Ballantyne connects with a leg kick. Extravaganza looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Extravaganza throws a lazy right hand but Ballantyne sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Crunch! Ballantyne slams his shin into Extravaganza's torso. Ballantyne throws a leg kick but Extravaganza moved away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Extravaganza throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ballantyne counters with a nice uppercut. A cross from Ballantyne lands. An inside leg kick from Ballantyne misses. Extravaganza moves out of range of the body kick. Extravaganza shoots and misses and Ballantyne makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Extravaganza really felt that one! Ballantyne lands a nice leg kick that just misses Extravaganza's sensitive parts. Extravaganza sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Ballantyne lands a big head kick that sends Extravaganza tumbling to the mat! Ballantyne takes a step backwards and waves Extravaganza back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Extravaganza is rocked!
It looks like Tapdance Extravaganza has been cut. Ballantyne delivers a nice body kick. Oh Extravaganza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ballantyne thumps Extravaganza with a low kick. Extravaganza takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Extravaganza has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ballantyne. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Ballantyne - that will leave a mark!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ballantyne drops Extravaganza with a naaaaasty hook - Extravaganza is in real trouble here! Ballantyne dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Garrick Ballantyne! In his post fight interview, Garrick Ballantyne started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
