The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hightower punishes Black's body with a nice straight punch.
Hightower throws a shot from downtown. Black moves away and avoids it.
Black throws a jab but it's blocked by Hightower.
Black doesn't manage to clinch there - Hightower circles away.
Hightower ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hightower lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Black is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Black moves out of range of the body kick from Hightower.
Hightower fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Black glances at the clock... BAM! Hightower nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Black crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Black is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
