The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aoki.
Pound misses with a straight right.
Pound gets a clinch.
Aoki wants a takedown.
Aoki drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Aoki tries to circle away but Pound has him pinned against the cage.
Pound creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Aoki's defenses.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Pound just misses with a elbow thrown towards Aoki's brow.
