Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Bagrationov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nicky Johnson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagrationov drops Johnson with a beautiful combination! Johnson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bagrationov is looking for the KO!
It looks like Nicky Johnson has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bagrationov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Bagrationov is just out of range.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bagrationov but Bagrationov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bagrationov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Johnson's guard.
Johnson is trying to control the position but Bagrationov postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bagrationov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Johnson wants to control but Bagrationov postures up.
Bagrationov tries to score with some ground and pound. Johnson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The strikes coming from Bagrationov are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Bagrationov is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Bagrationov looks up at the clock and then as Johnson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bagrationov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Johnson is doing well to control the position and prevent Bagrationov from advancing to side control.
Johnson manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Bagrationov feints and then cracks Johnson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Johnson down.
Johnson avoids a kick to the body.
Bagrationov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Bagrationov persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.
Bagrationov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bagrationov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.
Bagrationov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
Bagrationov tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.

Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bagrationov swivels and escapes.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bagrationov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson wants to control but Bagrationov postures up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Johnson explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bagrationov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Johnson misses with a head kick.
Bagrationov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Bagrationov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bagrationov keeps the fight on the outside.

Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Bagrationov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bagrationov.
Bagrationov tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Johnson counters with a head kick. That will keep Bagrationov thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Bagrationov shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Viktor Bagrationov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A left and a right from Bagrationov both land. Nice combination.
Bagrationov slaps away a takedown attempt from Johnson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Johnson drags the fight down to the ground.
Johnson has Bagrationov pulled in close to control his posture.
Johnson controls Bagrationov momentarily but Bagrationov frees himself.
Johnson has his feet on Bagrationov's thighs here. He's pushed Bagrationov off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bagrationov screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Nicky Johnson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
