The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambert is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stan.
It looks like Gauthier Lambert has been cut.
Stan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stan misses the jab.
Stan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Lambert misses with a series of wild punches.
Stan misses with a wild combination.
Stan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lambert if he has to take too many more of those.
Lambert scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stan in his tracks.

Stan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lambert manages to avoid it.

Lambert tries to bum rush Stan with a series of wild strikes but Stan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Lambert counters with a series of strikes. Stan will be more careful next time no doubt.

Stan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lambert throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Stan's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Stan duly obliges.

Lambert throws a right hand that Stan ducks under and follows up with a left that Stan also avoids with ease.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lambert crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stan - the referee stops the clock and Lambert gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stan. Lambert manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Stan.
Lambert takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Stan throws a head kick that misses.
Stan throws a series of punches but Lambert avoids them all with ease.
Stan misses with the combination.
Stan throws a front kick that sends Lambert stumbling back into the cage.
Stan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lambert looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Stan misses with a double jab.
Lambert gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stan looks for the body kick but Lambert saw that one coming.
Lambert takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lambert misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Stan counters with a head kick that drops Lambert to the mat! Lambert scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Lambert is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stan throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Lambert crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
