With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Chase!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cabunagan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Chase looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Cabunagan is looking for a kimura but Chase is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cabunagan to get the leverage.
Chase won't allow Cabunagan to pass to mount.

Cabunagan is working for a submission of some sort.

Chase looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Cabunagan pushes past his half guard into mount!
Cabunagan seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Chase is holding on tight.

Cabunagan looking for a guillotine from mount but Chase is having none of it.
Cabunagan scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cabunagan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Chase tries to reverse the position but Cabunagan maintains control.
Cabunagan wants to control the pace but Chase is squirming around nicely.
