Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Putnam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Prado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putnam kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is tap out. Ronnie Putnam has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putnam closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Putnam lands in his opponent's guard.
Prado keeping moving, preventing Putnam from controlling successfully.
Putnam is looking to stand up but Prado won't let him.
Putnam avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Prado tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Prado is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Prado working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Putnam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Putnam manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Prado ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Putnam moves away.
Putnam is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Prado's half guard.

Prado should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Putnam seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Prado does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Putnam takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Putnam is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Putnam trying to control but Prado is having none of it.

BOOM! Putnam connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Ronnie Putnam overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Prado is wriggling around trying to escape.
Prado is in a horrible position here. Putnam smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronnie Putnam dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Prado blocks a head kick by Putnam.
Prado tries to land a leg kick but Putnam saw it coming and moves away.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Putnam enables Prado to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Putnam manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Prado postures up in Putnam's guard and throws a big left but Putnam blocks it.
Putnam had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Prado defends it easily.
Putnam avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Prado misses with a head shot. Putnam uses the momentum to regain guard.
Prado has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Putnam to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Prado is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Putnam pulls down on the head and he's put Prado to sleep! This one is all over!
