Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michael Hall!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall throws a nice head kick!
Miller walks into a jab.
Miller closes the distance and clinches up with Hall, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes Hall against the cage but Hall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Michael Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hall connects with an inside leg kick.
Hall jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Miller throws a body kick that misses.
A punch lands to the side of Miller 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hall tries a head kick but it misses.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Miller is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Miller shoots in looking for a takedown but Hall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hall catches Miller with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hall throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Miller's head.
Hall lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hall connects with a looping right hand.
Hall is looking to clinch but Miller is avoiding it.
Miller shoots for a double leg takedown but Hall sprawls well. He's pushed Miller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hall, as that shot connected.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hall throws an overhand right that lands on Miller's shoulder, as Miller tries to avoid the shot.
A left and a right from Hall both land. Nice combination.


Miller is rocked!
Hall is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Miller had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Hall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hall lands the left hand.
Oh Miller is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Miller seems to have got his legs back now.
Michael Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Miller creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hall sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Miller tries to score with some ground and pound. Hall controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Hall is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Hall regains half guard, as Miller was trying to land strikes.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hall works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hall tries to bum rush Miller with a series of wild strikes but Miller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Michael Hall seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Hall connects with a leg kick. Miller looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Hall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Miller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hall stuffs the takedown.
Miller shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hall as he jumps to the side.

Miller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hall's waist but Hall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miller off to one side.

Hall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Miller on the side of the head.
Miller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hall is fending him off so far but Miller persists. Nope, Hall circles away and we're back to standing.

Miller takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hall lands a nice hook to Miller's body. Miller takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Miller with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hall to score with a decent uppercut.
Hall throws a one two combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat.

Hall moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Hall clinches up with Miller and pushes him back against the cage.

Hall manages to break the clinch.
Hall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt.
Hall lands a glancing blow to the side of Miller's head.
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown. Hall tries to sprawl out of it but Miller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Miller.
Hall looks to land a combination but Miller avoids it well.
Hall's corner calls for a 1-2. Hall obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Hall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miller was well out of range. Poor timing from Hall.
Miller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hall pinned against the cage. Hall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hall throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michael Hall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Miller crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hall - the referee stops the clock and Miller gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hall. Miller manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Miller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hall's waist but Hall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miller off to one side.
Miller walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hall checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Miller takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hall throws a push kick but Miller slaps the foot to one side.
Miller looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Hall lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Hall feints a jab promting Miller to slip. Hall then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Miller slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hall throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Miller sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hall throws a head kick that misses.
Hall throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Miller.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hall connects with an inside leg kick.

Miller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hall was covering up waiting for the punch and Miller finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Michael Hall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Hall winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
