Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mikel Winthrop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and se me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
me throws out a powerful jab.
me throws a body punch but Winthrop moves out of range.
Winthrop gets cracked with a nice right hand there by me.
me avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Winthrop circles away from the clinch attempt.
Winthrop fails with an attempt to clinch.
A big left from me misses.
me will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
me gets a clinch.
me has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Winthrop has me pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. me manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Winthrop wants the takedown. me is fighting it off but Winthrop persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in me's guard against the cage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Winthrop in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Winthrop is looking to work some ground and pound but me has wrist control.
me pulls Winthrop in to control the position.
Winthrop working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Winthrop throwing strikes from guard but me blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Winthrop stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. me swivels though and keeps the full guard.
me has control of Winthrop's left arm, preventing Winthrop from doing any damage.
me keeping moving, preventing Winthrop from controlling successfully.
Winthrop missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

me working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Winthrop.
Winthrop forces his way into half guard.
Winthrop trying to control the action but me is working from the bottom.
Winthrop throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Winthrop drops an elbow to the side of me's head.
Winthrop passes the guard and advances to mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Winthrop cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Winthrop has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Winthrop avoids the attempt from me to control.
