Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Hazelwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Jackon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sky Might Fall kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tyson Jackon has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Jackon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hazelwood's head.
Jackon works his foot free and advances to mount.
Hazelwood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackon on the ground.
Hazelwood is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jackon throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hazelwood because Jackon loaded up on that one.
Jackon is working for a guillotine from mount but Hazelwood frees his head quite easily.
Hazelwood is looking to improve his position but Jackon isn't that keen on the idea.
Hazelwood avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jackon.
Hazelwood is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hazelwood's face.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackon trying to control but Hazelwood is having none of it.
Jackon is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Hazelwood is forced to tap! Great finish!
