BayawaK has chosen Ariking-king as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Iwao Saito has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saito swings widly with a right hand
and BayawaK counters with a one-two to the body.
Saito swats away the attempt to clinch by BayawaK.
Saito misses with a straight right.

BayawaK gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Saito swings wildly with an uppercut but BayawaK uses good head movement to avoid it.
A frustrated look appears on Saito's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Saito lands a takedown into guard.
Saito throws a big right hand that misses.

Saito drops back looking for a leg! BayawaK is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and BayawaK manages to kick Saito off! Saito jumps back into BayawaK's guard.
Saito postures up in BayawaK's guard and throws a big left but BayawaK blocks it.
Saito chips away with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Saito keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of BayawaK's head.
Saito has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Saito's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Saito connects with a nice short shot to BayawaK's temple.

Saito passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for BayawaK!
Saito fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Saito postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. BayawaK looks a forlorn figure.
