Chinaski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gustav Mahler - Symphony No. 9: Mov. 4. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chinaski.
Chinaski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hank Chinaski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sub Zero.

Zero has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Zero there as he acknowledges the shot.

Zero looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chinaski is fending him off so far but Zero persists. Nope, Chinaski circles away and we're back to standing.
Chinaski leaves Zero with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Chinaski fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Zero.

Sub Zero's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sub Zero's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Hank Chinaski decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
