Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Caldwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaac Clarksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Caldwell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaac Clarksdale!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarksdale throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Clarksdale tries to move into range but Caldwell moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Clarksdale throws the left hand but Caldwell avoids the punch easily.
Clarksdale misses with a jab, cross combination.
Caldwell thumps Clarksdale with a low kick.
Clarksdale swinging wildly here.
Clarksdale misses with a series of wild punches.
Caldwell throws a right and a left that Clarksdale avoids nicely.
Caldwell takes a swing at Clarksdale's ribcage but misses.
Caldwell lands a nice leg kick that just misses Clarksdale's sensitive parts.
Clarksdale takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Caldwell keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Caldwell fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Clarksdale throws a shot from downtown. Caldwell moves away and avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Clarksdale. Caldwell does a little dance to reset his feet.
Clarksdale takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Good leg kick by Caldwell there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Clarksdale fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Caldwell manages to avoid it.
Caldwell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Caldwell dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Clarksdale. That did some damage!
Clarksdale is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Caldwell.


It looks like Isaac Clarksdale has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Caldwell cracks Clarksdale with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Clarksdale ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Caldwell moves away.
Clarksdale pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jab, jab by Caldwell - just one landing.
Caldwell thuds a left hand into Clarksdale's body.
Caldwell avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Caldwell feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Clarksdales jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clarksdale misses with a hook.
Clarksdale lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Caldwell lands a leg kick that knocks Clarksdale off balance momentarily.
A slow jab from Clarksdale misses its intended target.
Caldwell throws a head kick but Clarksdale moves out of range.
Isaac Clarksdale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clarksdale misses with a body shot
and Caldwell counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Clarksdale thinking.
Caldwell swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Clarksdale.
Caldwell changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice body kick there by Caldwell.
Clarksdale misses with a straight right.
Nice cross by Caldwell.
Caldwell tries a head kick but it misses.
Clarksdale fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Caldwell manages to avoid it.
Clarksdale falls off balance throwing a combination
and Caldwell counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Clarksdale is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Clarksdale throws a sloppy head kick
and Caldwell counters with a stiff right hand.


Clarksdale is rocked!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Clarksdale wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Caldwell has him pressed against the cage.
Caldwell displaying some good clinch control by pressing Clarksdale up against the cage.
Caldwell scores with a shoulder strike.
Caldwell has Clarksdale pressed against the cage, preventing Clarksdale from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Clarksdale wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Caldwell creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Clarksdale's defenses.
Caldwell lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Caldwell breaks from the clinch.
Clarksdale walks into a stiff left hand from Caldwell.
Clarksdale is still on wobbly legs! Can Caldwell finish him?
Caldwell cracks Clarksdale with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Clarksdale tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Caldwell pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Clarksdale is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Caldwell!
