Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Mcgillicutty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Hara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hara has chosen Harp and Lyre - Psalms 150 as his entrance music. Josh Hara told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Mcgillicutty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Hara! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcgillicutty thuds his right hand into Hara's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Hara defending well as Mcgillicutty loads up on a big left hand. Nice sprawl there from Mcgillicutty as Hara shoots in. Jack Mcgillicutty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hara checks a low kick from Mcgillicutty. Hara shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hara showed some decent athleticism there. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Hara takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mcgillicutty has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hara is working away from the top position though. Mcgillicutty is looking for a sweep. Hara is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mcgillicutty knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hara on the ground. Mcgillicutty is looking to escape. Hara prevents Mcgillicutty from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hara thows a huge punch but Mcgillicutty dodges it nicely.
Mcgillicutty is trying to get back to full guard. Hara is looking to take a break and control but Mcgillicutty is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hara connects with a nice short shot to Mcgillicutty's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hara is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mcgillicutty has managed to free his arm - good work. Hara wants to work for an arm triangle but Mcgillicutty is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hara landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hara wants to take a breather but Mcgillicutty is having none of it. Hara keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Mcgillicutty is trying to stand.
Mcgillicutty tries to get to full guard but Hara has control of the leg. Hara drops an elbow to the side of Mcgillicutty's head. Mcgillicutty is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hara working Mcgillicutty over with strikes. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hara lands a nice short elbow. Well, if Hara is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Hara lands a nice short elbow. Hara has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hara throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mcgillicutty is looking to improve his position.

Mcgillicutty is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hara's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hara's back! Hara turns into Mcgillicutty and is now in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hara drops back looking for a leg! Mcgillicutty is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcgillicutty manages to kick Hara off! Hara jumps back into Mcgillicutty's guard. Mcgillicutty controls Hara momentarily but Hara frees himself. Hara looking to pass the guard. Hara is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hara stands and throws Mcgillicutty's legs to the side, diving into side control. Hara wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcgillicutty keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hara tries for a kimura but Mcgillicutty is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcgillicutty manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Hara perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hara throwing shots but Mcgillicutty is blocking nicely. Mcgillicutty trying to control but Hara postures up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hara is trying to control. Mcgillicutty wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mcgillicutty is defending against the submission attempts here by Hara.
Mcgillicutty taking some punishment here, with Hara in his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Hara dominated that round. That's time! Mcgillicutty's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mcgillicutty stuns Hara with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. No luck for Hara with that takedown attempt. Hara shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcgillicutty pinned against the cage. Mcgillicutty gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hara keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hara gets the takedown into side control. Mcgillicutty is looking to regain half guard here but Hara keeps moving and retains side control. Hara wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mcgillicutty, who protects the arm well. Hara lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mcgillicutty down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hara works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Hara misses with the ground and pound.

Hara looking to control but Mcgillicutty is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hara lands a big elbow. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hara cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Hara passes the guard and advances to mount! Mcgillicutty is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mcgillicutty tries to hold on but Hara pushes him away. Mcgillicutty is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hara has control of Mcgillicutty's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mcgillicutty regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Mcgillicutty tries to lock up and control but Hara gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hara lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hara unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Mcgillicutty wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Hara celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Josh Hara! In his post fight interview, Josh Hara gave a big smile as he said 'It very big victory for me and i very happy! I wanna win this tournament and will get new champion! It's my dream and i go for it!'.
