Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sergiy Sklyar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meat Loaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sklyar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Scarface - No Tears. Loaf has chosen War is my destiny as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergiy Sklyar!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Meat Loaf!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sklyar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sklyar.
Sklyar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Loaf.

Loaf drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Meat Loaf wasn't active enough on the ground.

That's time! Sklyar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Loaf takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Loaf tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sklyar swivels and escapes.

Sklyar cracks Loaf with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Sklyar does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Sklyar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Loaf's guard.
Meat Loaf has got the better of the ground game so far.

Loaf has his foot on Sklyar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sklyar works his way back into a safe position though.

Loaf manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sklyar manages to get himself to full guard.

Meat Loaf showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
