Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Karl Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aodhan o hAodha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). o hAodha comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cursum Perficio by Enya kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aodhan o hAodha!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
o hAodha fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
o hAodha throws a sloppy head kick and Thomas moves out of range easily.
Thomas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Thomas feints and then cracks o hAodha's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow o hAodha down.
o hAodha fails to land the takedown.
Thomas lands the left hand.
It looks like Aodhan o hAodha has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
o hAodha throws a series of punches but Thomas avoids them all with ease.
Thomas connects with a solid leg kick.
o hAodha walks into a jab.
Thomas lands a nice leg kick that just misses o hAodha's sensitive parts.
o hAodha looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Thomas moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Thomas scores with a decent looking hook.

Thomas's jab looks to have found its range, popping o hAodha under the eye.
o hAodha swats away the attempt to clinch by Thomas.
o hAodha throws a sloppy head kick and Thomas moves out of range easily.
A jab lands there for Thomas.
Thomas misses with the combination.
Thomas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt o hAodha.
o hAodha takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Thomas.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
o hAodha takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Thomas lands a big head kick that sends o hAodha tumbling to the mat! Thomas takes a step backwards and waves o hAodha back to his feet - he wants the finish!
o hAodha is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thomas closes the distance and pushes o hAodha back into the cage.
o hAodha is still on wobbly legs! Can Thomas finish him?
Thomas misses with a knee to the head.
o hAodha seems to have recovered his senses.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
o hAodha swings wildly with an uppercut but Thomas uses good head movement to avoid it.
o hAodha lands an elbow just above Thomas 's eye.
o hAodha lands with a right to the head.
A right hook to the body lands for o hAodha.
Thomas goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Thomas connects with a nasty looking knee right to o hAodha's face.
o hAodha looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
o hAodha is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Thomas is defending well for now.
A bit of stalling here from Thomas.
o hAodha misses with some punches.
Thomas prevents a body shot from o hAodha.
o hAodha takes a knee to the side of the body.
Thomas blocks a punch to the side of the head.
o hAodha tries to throw a body punch but Thomas avoids it by throwing o hAodha back against the cage.

Thomas lands a knee to the body.
o hAodha looks gassed!
Thomas connects with a knee to the head.
Thomas is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Karl Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aodhan o hAodha.

Thomas lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of o hAodha backwards.

Still in the clinch, Thomas scores with a nice short uppercut.

With the fighters up against the cage, o hAodha throws an elbow but misses.
Thomas manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Thomas tries a knee to the head but o hAodha blocks it.
o hAodha has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
o hAodha has a couple of punches blocked by Thomas.
Thomas with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Thomas throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but o hAodha blocks it with crossed arms.
Thomas lands a knee to the head.
That has opened up Aodhan o hAodha's cut even more.
o hAodha tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Thomas smiles and moves away.
o hAodha throws a head kick that misses
enabling Thomas to counter with a crisp jab.
Thomas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
o hAodha looks for a takedown but Thomas sprawls well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A nice leg kick lands there from Thomas.
A nice inside leg kick there by Thomas. That's going to slow o hAodha down.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Karl Thomas dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Aodhan o hAodha's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
o hAodha throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Thomas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
o hAodha tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thomas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that o hAodha can do to turn this around?
Thomas throws a leg kick which misses o hAodha's front leg but catches the back leg as o hAodha tries to avoid it.
o hAodha takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Whack! Thomas lands a heavy head kick that drops o hAodha. The ref tackles Thomas to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because o hAodha was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Karl Thomas!
