Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Magas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Pickel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pickel has chosen Kiss Me, I'm Shitfaced as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Magas or perhaps it was just good defense by Pickel which made him look bad.
Mike Magas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pickel should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Magas connects with a high kick.
Magas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Magas tries to bum rush Pickel with a series of wild strikes but Pickel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Magas throws a combination. Pickel tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Pickel blocks a head kick by Magas.
Magas looks to land a combination but Pickel avoids it well.
Magas moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Magas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pickel.

Magas tries to clinch but Pickel is having none of it.
Magas pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A left and a right from Magas both land. Nice combination.
Magas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pickel tries to avoid it but Magas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pickel to the ground. Pickel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Magas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Magas walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Magas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pickel shoots in and bounces Magas off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Magas has momentary wrist control but Pickel slips an elbow through the middle.
Pickel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Magas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Magas controls Pickel momentarily but Pickel frees himself.
Magas avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Magas wants to stand up but Pickel is controlling him.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pickel's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Pickel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pickel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pickel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Magas lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Magas throws a series of punches but Pickel moves out of range.
Pickel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Magas but Magas pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pickel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

and Pickel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

so Pickel counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Magas is breathing heavily.

Magas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Magas stuffs the takedown.
No joy there for Magas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Magas tries a head kick but it misses.
Pickel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Pickel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pickel throws a body punch but Magas moves out of range.
Pickel with a lazy takedown attempt

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Magas misses with a double jab.
Magas misses with the combination.
Pickel throws out a leg kick but Magas moves out of range and Pickel only half commits.
Pickel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pickel throws an overhand right that lands on Magas's shoulder, as Magas tries to avoid the shot.
Magas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Magas is working the combinations to good effect here.
Pickel keeps the fight on the outside.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Magas throws a one two combo.
Magas sizes up Pickel with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Magas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pickel counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Magas!
Magas tries to reverse the position but Pickel maintains control.
Pickel lands a nice shot to the head.

Pickel thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Magas's head.
Magas tries to kick Pickel off but Pickel keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Magas regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Pickel.
Pickel prevents Magas from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pickel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Magas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Magas scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pickel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pickel postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Magas lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pickel!
Magas wants to stand but Pickel is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Pickel can't escape the position.
Magas tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Magas stands up from mount. Strange move.
Magas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Magas throws a one two combo.
It looks like Martin Pickel has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Magas tests Pickel's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Magas throws a combination. Pickel tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Pickel is rocked!
Magas lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Pickel is looking to close the distance but Magas sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Pickel crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Pickel is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
