Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Picker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Picker!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picker shoots in looking for a takedown. Hunter tries to sprawl out of it but Picker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hunter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Picker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Picker shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunter sprawls well. He's pushed Picker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hunter wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A nice combination there by Hunter.
Hunter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Picker doesn't seem bothered though.
Picker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hunter defends it nicely.
Johnny Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Picker.
Hunter lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hunter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Picker.
Picker looks gassed!
Hunter tests Picker's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hunter cracks Picker with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hunter throws a right hand that Picker ducks under and follows up with a left that Picker also avoids with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hunter throws a low kick but Picker moves out of range easily.
Hunter throws a chopping leg kick but Picker manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Johnny Hunter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Picker's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hunter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Picker scrambles back to his feet.
Hunter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Picker's hands.
Donk. Hunter catches Picker right on the button with a cross.
Picker needs to keep his hands up - Hunter had a free shot at his head there.
Picker shoots in but Hunter avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hunter moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Picker shoots in for a takedown but Hunter shows good takedown defense.
Hunter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Picker eats them both and turns towards Hunter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Hunter is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Picker gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hunter goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Picker is rocked!
A punch lands to the side of Picker 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Picker is still on wobbly legs! Can Hunter finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hunter sizes up Picker with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hunter throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Picker colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Hunter as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Picker is left battered and dazed whilst Hunter and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Hunter!
