Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rex Kaizer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Summers ! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaizer throws out a leg kick but Summers moves out of range and Kaizer only half commits. Kaizer looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Kaizer keeps the fight on the outside. Summers fails with a takedown attempt. Summers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kaizer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Summers misses with a few strikes there.
Summers swings for the body but Kaizer moves out of range.
Summers drives through and clinches with Kaizer against the cage.
Summers has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kaizer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kaizer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kaizer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Summers should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kaizer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Summers wants to clinch up but Kaizer keeps it at a distance. Summers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kaizer as he avoids it easily. Rex Kaizer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Summers . Kaizer connects with a single shot there. Summers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kaizer as he jumps to the side. Kaizer misses with the combination.

Summers wants to clinch. Summers tries to clinch but Kaizer is having none of it. Kaizer drops his hands momentarily and Summers takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Rex Kaizer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Summers avoids the body shot from Kaizer.
Rex Kaizer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Summers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kaizer swivels and escapes. No luck for Summers with that takedown attempt. Summers avoids the body shot from Kaizer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Summers is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kaizer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Summers dives in and grabs Kaizer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kaizer pushes down on Summers 's head and hops out. Kaizer scores with a three punch combo!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kaizer throws out a leg kick but Summers moves out of range and Kaizer only half commits. Kaizer throws a lazy head kick and Summers counters with a body kick. Some bone on bone action there as Kaizer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kaizer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Summers .

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaizer throws a series of strikes that have Summers backpedaling.
Summers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kaizer sprawls well. Kaizer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Summers gets slowly back to his feet. Kaizer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Summers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice takedown defense from Kaizer. No joy for Summers on that attempt. Kaizer throws a one two combo.
Summers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kaizer!
Summers tries to close the distance and clinch but Kaizer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sloppy strikes from Kaizer. Those never looked like landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaizer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Summers throws a series of punches but Kaizer moves out of range. Summers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kaizer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Summers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kaizer.

Summers shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kaizer lands a head kick. Summers smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Summers misses with a body shot.
Summers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kaizer circles away. Summers takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kaizer lands a nice looking body shot.
Kaizer tries to land a front kick but Summers steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kaizer is working the combinations to good effect here. Summers tries for a takedown but Kaizer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kaizer shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Summers eats them both and turns towards Kaizer to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rex Kaizer will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Summers is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Summers blocks a low kick nicely. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kaizer. Summers shrugs it off though. Summers clinches. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Summers pulls guard successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Summers is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kaizer is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaizer is looking to stand up but Summers won't let him. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Summers holds on and takes a little breather.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Summers is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaizer is sitting in close to Summers 's body. Summers has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kaizer is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kaizer is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Summers .
