The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Remnant scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Remnant wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Remnant misses with an elbow over the top.
Lee has Remnant pushed against the cage.
Remnant wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Remnant wants to break free but Lee has control.
Lee keeps control of Remnant as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Remnant tries to land a knee to the head but Lee blocks with his arms.
Lee changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Remnant fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lee smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Mikelian Remnant has been cut.
Remnant dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage!
Lee stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Remnant.
Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lee showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Remnant.
A left and a right from Remnant both land. Nice combination.
Remnant misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Remnant wants to clinch.
Remnant is looking to clinch but Lee is avoiding it.
Remnant throws a head kick that Lee semi-blocks.

Remnant connects with a solid leg kick.
Remnant tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it.

Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lee is looking to advance position but Remnant won't allow it.

Lee decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Remnant plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
A slapping leg kick lands for Remnant.
Lee shoots in but Remnant avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lee fails with the takedown.
Mikelian Remnant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Lee.
Lee looks gassed!
Remnant fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Remnant stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.
Remnant throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lee's head.
Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Remnant is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Remnant circles away and we're back to standing.
Remnant throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.

Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Remnant throws out the jab.

Lee scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee decides to stand back up.
Remnant misses with the combination.
Lee checks a low kick from Remnant.
Lee throws a combination that misses
enabling Remnant to counter with a crisp jab.
Remnant keeps the fight on the outside.
Lee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lee does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Remnant motions for Lee to come forward. Remnant throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mikelian Remnant is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lee scores a takedown into full mount!

Lee is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Remnant is forced to tap! Great finish!
