Skarnulis comes to the cage accompanied by Face the pain. Evaldas Skarnulis has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skarnulis tries to clinch but Pelkko moves out of range.
Skarnulis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A big head kick from Skarnulis and Pelkko is sent sprawling to the canvas!
It looks like Jukka Pelkko has been cut.
Skarnulis has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Skarnulis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Pelkko is trying to control the position but Skarnulis postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skarnulis with a nice head shot there.
Pelkko is looking to sinch up a triangle. Skarnulis throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pelkko's body to avoid the submission. Pelkko has instead reached around Skarnulis's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pelkko arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jukka Pelkko!
Jukka Pelkko bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
