Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teu Pai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJ Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teu Pai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JJ Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pai works Thomas's body with a nice hook.
Thomas is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pai sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Thomas shoots in looking for a takedown but Pai manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Thomas's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thomas is defended easily by Pai.
Teu Pai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JJ Thomas.

Thomas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pai's waist but Pai gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thomas off to one side.

JJ Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thomas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pai avoids it really well and circles away.
Pai scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Pai bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thomas's head backwards.
Pai lunges at Thomas with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thomas's hand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Thomas dives in and grabs Pai's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pai pushes down on Thomas's head and hops out.
Thomas has a takedown stuffed.
Pai is working the combinations to good effect here.
Pai lands a jab to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thomas shoots in but Pai avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Thomas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pai is fending him off so far but Thomas persists. Nope, Pai circles away and we're back to standing.

Teu Pai is winning the standup battle so far.
Pai feints a jab promting Thomas to slip. Pai then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Thomas slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pai stuns Thomas with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pai as he jumps to the side.
Pai thuds his right hand into Thomas's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Thomas has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Pai's jab looks to have found its range, popping Thomas under the eye.
Pai moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Thomas might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Pai has got the better of the exchanges.

and Pai counters with a crisp one two that drops Thomas! Pai thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Thomas to his feet! Thomas is in big trouble!

Pai Rushes Thomas and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Thomas is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Pai Piles on the pressure and Thomas crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
