Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leighton Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zamora has chosen Medieval Fiddle as his entrance music. Leighton Jefferson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leighton Jefferson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Cody Zamora!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jefferson feints and as Zamora raises his hands in defense, Jefferson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jefferson looking to sit in guard and control but Zamora gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jefferson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Zamora escapes and throws Jefferson's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Jefferson tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Zamora stuffs the takedown.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Jefferson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Zamora's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Zamora sneaks out the side door and pushes Jefferson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Jefferson is breathing heavily.
Zamora keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Zamora swats away the attempt to clinch by Jefferson.
Zamora lands with a thumping leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circle momentarily. Zamora darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Zamora shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jefferson pinned against the cage. Jefferson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Zamora forces Jefferson back against the cage and clinches.
Jefferson tries to break the clinch but Zamora is controlling the position.

Zamora jumps guard and drags Jefferson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Zamora pushes a forearm under Jefferson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jefferson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
