And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeru Mark Kyle!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Legutnik is fending him off so far but Kyle persists. Nope, Legutnik circles away and we're back to standing.
Legutnik slips a jab from Kyle.
Kyle misses the jab.
Nice jab there from Legutnik.
Kyle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Legutnik with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Kyle tries to keep at a distance but Legutnik has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kyle lands a left hand that snaps the head of Legutnik backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Legutnik stalling.
Legutnik misses with a short punch on the inside.
Legutnik lands a body shot in the clinch.
Legutnik managing to block the knees to the body from Kyle.

Kyle comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like DumDum Legutnik has been cut.

Legutnik lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Kyle has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Legutnik clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Legutnik wants to control his opponent's hands but Kyle gets his hands free.
I really don't envy Legutnik right now.
Legutnik turns into Kyle and is now in his guard.

Kyle throws his legs up looking for a submission but Legutnik uses it to pass to side control.
Kyle regains half guard.
Kyle is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kyle is wriggling around trying to escape.
Legutnik has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kyle's face.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Legutnik lands a nice shot to the head.
Kyle is looking to improve his position but Legutnik isn't that keen on the idea.
Kyle flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Kyle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kyle is looking to get to half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Legutnik punching from mount but Kyle doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Legutnik lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kyle really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kyle is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Kyle manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Kyle flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The fighters are battling for position here. Kyle manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Kyle has a closed guard, preventing Legutnik from standing up.
Kyle throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Legutnik trying to control but Kyle is working from the bottom.
Kyle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Legutnik is one step ahead there.
Legutnik throws a big elbow that misses.
Legutnik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kyle on the ground.
Legutnik wants to control from the top but Kyle keeps moving.

Kyle striking off his back but it's not causing Legutnik any problems.

Kyle has an active guard here but Legutnik has managed to pass into half guard.
Legutnik looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kyle with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Legutnik is stalling here. Kyle is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Legutnik seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kyle has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Legutnik wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kyle goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Legutnik rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kyle's guard! Nice work there by Legutnik!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that DumDum Legutnik will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Legutnik bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kyle takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kyle slips under a jab.
Legutnik tries to clinch but Kyle moves out of range.
Kyle walks into a left hand.
Legutnik scores with a jab to the head.
Legutnik displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kyle throws out the jab.
Legutnik scores with a punch to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice defenses there by Kyle.
Kyle scores with a decent looking hook.
Kyle throws a big shot that misses.
Kyle thuds his right hand into Legutnik's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kyle walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kyle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kyle cracks Legutnik with a hook to the temple - Legutnik is on wobbly legs here! Kyle swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Legutnik falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Kyle wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Takeru Mark Kyle!
Takeru Mark Kyle tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
