Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ezekio Rubblesnaph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenik Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mr. Crowley. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ezekio Rubblesnaph! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lenik Khan! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rubblesnaph's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rubblesnaph duly obliges. Rubblesnaph tries to close the distance and clinch up but Khan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rubblesnaph rushes Khan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rubblesnaph tries to score a body lock takedown but Khan shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Khan using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rubblesnaph has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rubblesnaph drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Khan gets the underhooks and prevents it.

It looks like Lenik Khan has been cut. Still in the clinch, Rubblesnaph scores with a nice short uppercut. Rubblesnaph misses with a knee strike.
Rubblesnaph is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Khan pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ezekio Rubblesnaph. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rubblesnaph with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

This has been an exciting period of action! Khan jumps guard but Rubblesnaph turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Rubblesnaph throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Khan blocks it with crossed arms.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rubblesnaph pulls him back up using the underhooks. Khan tries to pull guard but Rubblesnaph forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Rubblesnaph prevents the takedown attempt.
Khan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rubblesnaph prevents it.
Khan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rubblesnaph pulls him back up using the underhooks. Khan looks gassed! Rubblesnaph unloads a knee to the mid-section. Khan prevents a takedown attempt there.
Khan is trying to pull guard but Rubblesnaph has him pressed against the cage. Rubblesnaph gets a trip takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rubblesnaph passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Khan! Rubblesnaph putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rubblesnaph with a couple of short strikes. Rubblesnaph scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Rubblesnaph is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Khan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Khan is in a horrible position here. Rubblesnaph smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Khan is looking to improve his position but Rubblesnaph isn't that keen on the idea. Rubblesnaph looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Khan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rubblesnaph. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rubblesnaph wants to control the pace but Khan is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee warns Khan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rubblesnaph wants to control the pace but Khan is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rubblesnaph. Rubblesnaph with a couple of short strikes. Rubblesnaph prevents Khan from getting the reversal. Rubblesnaph lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Khan hang on? Khan tries to hold on but Rubblesnaph postures up. Rubblesnaph with the ground and pound from mount. Khan is working to get back to half guard.
Rubblesnaph can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Khan is looking to escape. Rubblesnaph is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rubblesnaph is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Khan is surviving well by controlling Rubblesnaph's body position as best he can. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khan defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rubblesnaph. Khan is trying to stand up. Rubblesnaph blocks Khan's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Rubblesnaph has control of Khan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Khan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Khan tries to lock up and control but Rubblesnaph gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ezekio Rubblesnaph dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lenik Khan's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Khan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rubblesnaph's guard. Rubblesnaph is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Khan is controlling him. Khan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Khan throws a big right hand that misses. Khan with a nice head shot there. Khan with a flurry of punches that miss. Rubblesnaph throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Khan trying to control the position from guard on top but Rubblesnaph is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Khan connects with a couple of short punches. Khan is working Rubblesnaph over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Khan wants to control from the top but Rubblesnaph keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ezekio Rubblesnaph overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Khan is breathing heavily. Rubblesnaph manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Khan manages to get himself to full guard.
Khan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rubblesnaph throws a big right hand that misses. Rubblesnaph in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rubblesnaph stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Khan is trying to keep Rubblesnaph in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Khan wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Rubblesnaph is now in half guard. Rubblesnaph trying to control from half guard but Khan is working away. Khan tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Khan is trying to control but can't.
Rubblesnaph lands strikes from half guard. Rubblesnaph working the head and body with strikes. Khan looking for submissions off his back. Rubblesnaph has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Khan has hold of Rubblesnaph's hands but Rubblesnaph slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rubblesnaph slips a nice elbow through Khan's hands, connecting with Khan's forehead. Rubblesnaph stops Khan from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rubblesnaph frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Khan is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Rubblesnaph has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Khan's face.
Rubblesnaph is landing with some decent strikes but Khan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Khan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rubblesnaph lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Khan hang on? Rubblesnaph working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Khan looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Rubblesnaph! Submission of the night perhaps?
