0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jesse Blake! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King avoids a punch combination nicely.
Blake fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging King to the ground. Blake is now in King's guard. Blake prevents King from getting back to his feet. King is wriggling around but Blake manages to pass to half guard.
King tries to kick Blake off but Blake keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. King pushes Blake off but Blake dives into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Blake bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps King's head backwards. King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Blake chopping away at his opponent's legs.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Blake looks to land a combination but King avoids it well. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Blake takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
