Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Diego Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fantinaz Del Norte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Norte has chosen La Coka Nostra - Malverde Market as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao tries to clinch there but Del Norte circles away.
Del Norte looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Del Norte looking to score a takedown here. Brandao is defending well but Del Norte drives through and ends up in Brandao's guard.
Del Norte wants to pass the guard but Brandao is keeping the position.
Brandao is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Del Norte wants to control from the top but Brandao keeps moving.
Brandao has his foot on Del Norte's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Del Norte works his way back into a safe position though.
Brandao can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Del Norte controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Del Norte counters by clinching up.

Del Norte attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Del Norte swings for the body but Brandao moves out of range.

That kick from Brandao tenderised Del Norte's leg. Del Norte is trying to keep his angry face on.
Brandao moves into the clinch successfully.
Brandao jumps guard but Del Norte stands there with Brandao around his waist. Brandao gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Del Norte pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Del Norte misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Brandao.

Brandao tries for a takedown but Del Norte sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diego Brandao. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brandao tries to clinch up.
Del Norte shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brandao manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Brandao wants to sweep but no luck.
Del Norte thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Brandao is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Del Norte must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Del Norte postures up in Brandao's guard and throws a big left but Brandao blocks it.
Del Norte tries to free his leg and advance position but Brandao is retaining full guard.
Brandao looking to hit a scissor sweep but Del Norte is one step ahead there.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Brandao bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Del Norte's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Brandao stands and throws Del Norte's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Del Norte throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Brandao tries to clinch up
and Del Norte holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fantinaz Del Norte dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Del Norte moves into the clinch.
Brandao is trying to maintain a safe position but Del Norte gets an underhook and turns Brandao into the cage.
Brandao is fighting off a takedown attempt but Del Norte is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Brandao to the mat. Brandao regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Brandao looking for a guillotine here but Del Norte defends easily.
Del Norte is posturing up here but Brandao has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Del Norte tries to roll out but it's too tight and Del Norte has to tap! Slick submission there by Brandao!
