The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fesenko takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Buckner thows a left - swing and a miss!
Buckner circles away from the clinch attempt.
A head kick misses from Fesenko.
Buckner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fesenko.
Buckner scores with a sloppy right hand. Fesenko should have avoided that one.
Fesenko tries to clinch up.
Buckner forces Fesenko back against the ropes and clinches.
Buckner scores with a hook to the body.
Buckner lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Fesenko.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Buckner lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fesenko backwards.
Buckner misses with a hook to the ribs.
Still in the clinch, Buckner scores with a nice short uppercut.
Fesenko throws an elbow but it misses.
Buckner unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Fesenko! He's leaning against the ropes trying to keep his feet but Buckner is unloading with more strikes now! Fesenko drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Buckner!
Matt Buckner gave a mention to BLKOUT Clothing in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
