Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iezaih Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michael Kross! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Iezaih Morgan! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan swats away the attempt to clinch by Kross. Kross misses with a double jab
and Morgan counters with a left and a right that stings Kross. A combination from Morgan does no damage. Morgan circles away from the clinch attempt.
A combination from Kross does no damage. Kross wants to clinch. Morgan is looking to land body kicks. Morgan shoots for a double leg takedown but Kross sprawls well. He's pushed Morgan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Morgan takes the fight into the clinch. Kross looking to slow down the pace here. Kross tries to work over Morgan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kross tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Kross struggles to land a body shot inside as Morgan controls his hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. A shot in the inside from Kross. Kross wants the takedown. Morgan is fighting it off but Kross persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Morgan's guard against the cage. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Morgan wants to stand but Kross is controlling the position. Kross looking to pass the guard. Kross is looking to work some ground and pound but Morgan has wrist control. Kross pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Morgan is keeping the position for now. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Kross throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kross won't allow Morgan to get back to his feet. Kross scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kross prevents Morgan from getting back to his feet. Kross looking to pass the guard. Morgan wants to get back to his feet but Kross is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kross works over Morgan with some ground and pound from guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Morgan scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kross tries to clinch there but Morgan circles away.
Kross throws a combination that misses and Kross takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Morgan gets a clinch. Kross misses with the head strike.
Kross has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Morgan after a bit of a struggle. Kross tries to work over Morgan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Morgan jumps into guard, dragging Kross to the mat.
Morgan wants to stand but Kross is controlling the position. Kross in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kross loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morgan can do anything to dispel that myth. Morgan uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kross throws a series of punches but Morgan avoids them all with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kross takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kross drives through and clinches with Morgan against the cage.
Kross is breathing heavily. Morgan misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kross can't find room to land a body shot as Morgan controls the action.
Morgan lands a shoulder strike. Morgan breaks from the clinch.
Kross tries to keep at a distance but Morgan has taken the fight into the clinch. Morgan is trying to break the clinch but Kross is controlling him. Morgan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Morgan blocks a body shot from Kross. Kross's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Morgan works the jab nicely. A punch combination from Morgan misses. Morgan lands a front kick. Kross fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kross takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Morgan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Morgan fails with the takedown. Morgan stuns Kross with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kross keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Michael Kross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iezaih Morgan. Kross avoids the head kick by Morgan.
Kross tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morgan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Morgan tries a head kick but it misses.
Morgan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kross's half guard. Morgan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kross. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kross manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kross not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iezaih Morgan dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Morgan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kross back to the cage. Morgan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Morgan drives through and clinches with Kross against the cage.

Kross goes for a takedown attempt but Morgan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kross rushes Morgan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kross taking a breather. Morgan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kross is defending well. Kross turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kross manages to end up in side control. Morgan pushes Kross away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kross gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Morgan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. An elbow from Kross crashes against the mat.
Kross trying to control the action but Morgan is working from the bottom. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Morgan wants to get back to his feet.

Morgan tries to escape but Kross is in control. Morgan parries the strikes from Kross easily there. Kross is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Morgan to escape.
Morgan sneaks out the side door and pushes Kross away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Kross takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kross stuffs the takedown attempt from Morgan. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet. Morgan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Morgan dodges the punch combination from Kross.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Iezaih Morgan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kross is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Morgan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kross back to the cage. Morgan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Some wild striking there from Kross.
Morgan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kross, pushing him back against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Morgan manages to break the clinch.

Morgan is trying to force a seperation but Kross has the dominant position. Morgan blocks a body shot from Kross. Morgan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kross walks away with a smile on his face. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Michael Kross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iezaih Morgan. Morgan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kross! Morgan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kross is looking to escape. Kross wants to control but Morgan is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan tries to control but Kross wriggling away. Kross tries to get back to half guard but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Morgan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kross tries to reverse the position but Morgan maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iezaih Morgan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Morgan moves into the clinch successfully.
Kross digs a right hand underneath Morgan's ribcage. Morgan let out a lung full of air as it connected. Morgan is trying to force a seperation but Kross has the dominant position. Morgan looks to throw an elbow but misses. Kross gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Morgan regains guard.
Morgan is wriggling around but Kross manages to pass to half guard.
Morgan pushes Kross off looking to stand but Kross dives back in and keeps control.
Kross thows a huge punch but Morgan dodges it nicely.
Morgan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kross. Kross is pressing down on Morgan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Morgan is holding on for now. Kross passes to side control. Kross has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Morgan tries to escape but Kross is in control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kross working the head with strikes. Kross wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morgan keeps working. Morgan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Morgan taking punishment in the form of punches.
Morgan stops Kross from passing to mount. Morgan explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Kross tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morgan swats him away and circles back towards the center. A leg kick checked by Kross. Morgan takes the fight into the clinch. Morgan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Kross scores with an uppercut up the middle. Kross tries to work over Morgan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Kross. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kross misses with a body punch.

A short uppercut from Kross. Morgan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kross lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Kross can't find room to land a body shot as Morgan controls the action.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kross works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Kross trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Iezaih Morgan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kross stops Morgan from standing up. Morgan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Morgan keeping moving, preventing Kross from controlling successfully. Kross throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kross postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kross missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Morgan keeping moving, preventing Kross from controlling successfully. Morgan wants to stand up but Kross is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kross with a flurry of punches that miss. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Morgan pushes Kross off and gets back to his feet.
